The popular media Hypocrites are pursuing Donald Trump Jr. after disregarding similar–however worse–actions from the Clinton campaign.
In the early 2016 days, John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, set up a meeting with the Chinese ambassador Cui Tiankai for an “off the record get together” to talk about the “state of US-China affairs” (from Twitter).

In the meantime, the popular media is having a heyday alleging the Trump campaign of inappropriate meetings with Russian officials. The coverage differences coverage uncover deep anti-Trump bias in the media.
Donald Trump Jr. faced accusations of meeting with a Russian official throughout the 2016 election. The President’s son, in an act of transparency, published all of the emails concerning the meeting (according to CNN).
Publicist Rob Goldstone contacted Donald Trump Jr. attempting to set up a meeting between him and a Russian lawyer. He assured the lawyer had something on Hillary Clinton.
Donald Trump Jr. accepted the invitation to meet the lawyer, and along with him came Paul Manafort, then-campaign manager and Jared Kushner, his brother-in-law, to negotiate with the Russian lawyer.
The duration of the meeting was ten minutes, and the lawyer had no information to give. What he claimed to have was a lie used to lobby members of Trump’s campaign on unrelated issues.
The media has portrayed this meeting as if it is evidence the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to modify the election. Nevertheless, the Russian lawyer did not collaborate with the Russian government. Moreover, the Russian government denies that he knew of the meeting, or the lawyer claiming to work on their behalf.
The Trump campaign members agreed to a meeting with a private citizen, who turned out to be Russian, claiming to have opposition material. Nothing came of the meeting, and there was no link to the Russian government. Nonetheless, the media is looking at this as smoking gun against the Trump campaign.
