“Republican” Senator John McCain of Arizona, said late on Tuesday night that the accusations against President Trump and his cabinet have reached a “Watergate size and scale.”
As the Washington Examiner reported, the senator, who has been one of Trump’s most outspoken critics, said this at an International Republican Institute panel in Washington, D.C., say the reporters who attended the event.
McCain, at IRI dinner panel being moderated by Schiefer, said the Trump scandals have become nearly “Watergate-size,” per attendee.

President Trump has been assailed with accusations in recent months and just last week, to everyone’s surprise, Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.
Some people have seen this move as a clear “obstruction of justice” on the President’s side as Comey was in the middle of investigating the Trump team’s link with Russia and any possible collusion between the two parties to sabotage the 2016 presidential election agains Hillary Clinton.
According to a report on Monday, President Donald Trump has allegedly revealed top secret national security intelligence to top Russian diplomats. On Tuesday, a different report appeared alleging the President somehow tried to implicitly dissuade Comey into further investigating his former National Security adviser Michael Flynn’s contacts with Russia.
